All Bio Trap options consist of 2226 series Nalge heavy-duty, PP carboys (20L & 10L). and Nalge 83B, PP closures modified with fittings made from PP and Stainless steel. Mix and match carboy and closures to your needs. Sterilization Note: Refer to Nalgene catalog if autoclaving is sterilization of choice for polypropylene items.

2. CHOOSE a BioTrap: QUICK-RELEASE Closure option
Modified closures have TPE gaskets and quick-release fittings that are barbed inside and out. The fittings have leak-proof, self-sealing mechanisms that engage when the insert is released making the Bio Trap System excellent for capturing, storing, and transporting liquids.

ISOTOPE IMAGING FILM
Isotope Imaging Film is an ideal cross-contamination barrier between isotope imaging equipment and TLC plates. It’s 1.4 micron thickness will allow you to maximize all beta imaging analyses. It is particularly effective for use with C14 samples with it’s 98+% pass through of the weaker beta emissions. It’s 12.5” width provides single, very-thin layer coverage of 8x10” TLC plates.
